Where to Find Volunteers for Your NGO in Trinidad & Tobago
VOLUNTEER CENTER OF TRINIDAD AND TOBAGO (VCTT) – Founded in February 2011 by “a group of young people driven to encourage an active spirit of volunteerism in Trinidad and Tobago.”
- Register Your Organisation – Visit the VCTT website to complete and submit a registration form at http://www.vctt.org/projects/register-your-organization. After the registration form is submitted, organisations will receive a follow-up email from VCTT regarding the event/volunteer opportunity and the type(s) of volunteers needed.
- Timing of Volunteer Request – Organisations are encouraged to register and submit their volunteer requests at least one month in advance of their need. If the request is urgent, contact VCTT’s Director, Nicole Hendrickson directly at firstname.lastname@example.org.
THE VOLUNTEER CONNECTION (TVC) – Established in 2005, TVC’s mission is to “identify and connect members of the population, who share a concern about those in society adversely affected by social and economic issues, with NGOs that assist these persons.”
- Register Your Organisation – Visit the TVC website to submit requests for volunteers on the ‘Contact Us’ page at http://www.thevolunteerconnectiontrinidad.info/contact-us.html OR email requests to email@example.com to receive a registration form via email.
- Timing of Volunteer Requests – Requests can be submitted at any time for volunteers.
