Job Description: We require an individual consultant with a proven track record and experience in high-level research work in the field, to serve as Team Leader with responsibility for conducting the qualitative component of the National Prevalence Survey on Gender Based Violence in Trinidad and Tobago. The Team Leader is responsible for subcontracting two (2) research assistants and must demonstrate that the Research Team exhibits strong qualitative methodological and analytical skills with considerable knowledge of the field of violence against women and girls (VAWG) and the use of participatory research methods. The members of the Research Team must possess substantive knowledge and experience in the field of research and programming related to violence against women. Job Title & Organisation: Assistant Resident Representative (Programme)- United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) Trinidad and Tobago
Job Description: Under the guidance of the UN Resident Coordinator/UNDP Resident Representative (RC/RR), the Assistant Resident Representative (Programme) (ARR-P) leads and represents UNDP and functions as a part of the Senior Management Team. The ARR-P covers a broad range of issues ranging from programme formulation to delivery and representing UNDP when the RC/RR is acting as the Coordinator of the UN system. The main role is to manage the country programme including continued monitoring of implementation. Within the framework of the UNDAF Results Matrix and the Country Programme Document and under the overall guidance of the RC/RR, the ARR-P is responsible for strategic planning, programme formulation and creative responses to emerging complex challenges.
