WHAT: “The United States Embassy Port of Spain is accepting proposals for projects which aim to preserve cultural heritage, through the U.S. Ambassadors Fund for Cultural Preservation (AFCP) 2015 Competition. The AFCP supports the preservation of cultural sites, cultural objects, and forms of traditional cultural expression in 100+ developing countries around the world.”
ELIGIBLE PROJECT APPLICANTS: “Eligible project applicants are defined as reputable and accountable non-commercial entities, such as non-governmental organizations, museums, ministries of culture, or similar institutions and organizations that are able to demonstrate that they have the requisite experience and capacity to manage projects to preserve cultural heritage.”
FUNDING: Grant funding requests may not exceed $200,000 USD. Please note that only one applicant will be chosen for final nomination.
